Privacy Policy.
Plain English. The short version: we collect the email you give us, we use it to talk to you about the sprint, we don't sell it.
1. What we collect
When you reserve a seat or join the waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address.
- Optional company name (if you provide one).
- The timestamp of your signup and the source page (e.g., hero form vs waitlist section).
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel) collects standard server logs: IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp. We don't use third-party analytics or tracking pixels on this site.
When you fill out our pre-sprint diagnostic at politwit1984-buildscope.vercel.app, the workflow description you submit is processed by Anthropic Claude to generate your AI tool spec. Anthropic processes that text per their own privacy policy; we don't store the workflow text on our side beyond what's required to send you the spec.
2. What we use it for
We use your email to:
- Confirm your reservation or waitlist position.
- Send sprint logistics: kickoff details, Discord invite, weekly check-ins, Demo Day reminders.
- Notify you when a future sprint opens, if you're on the waitlist.
- Reply to support requests you send us.
We don't spam, we don't blast marketing emails, and we don't bombard inactive waitlist members. One email when a sprint opens. That's the contract.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your email. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't put it in a third-party database that gets resold.
We do use a small set of operational services to run the business. They each see whatever data they need to do their part of the job and nothing more:
- Vercel — hosts this site and processes your reservation form submissions.
- Supabase — stores reservation + waitlist records (email, optional company, timestamp, source).
- Anthropic Claude — processes any text you submit to BuildScope or the Hartwell Briefing demo. We don't share emails with Anthropic; their processing is content-only.
- Discord + Skool — once you're a builder in a sprint, we share your email and name to invite you to the sprint workspace. They have their own privacy policies.
- Stripe (or equivalent payment processor) — processes payments when you reserve a paid sprint. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see them.
4. Cookies and tracking
This site uses no third-party tracking cookies and no advertising pixels. We may use a single first-party cookie for sticky-note state in the Hartwell Dashboard demo (localStorage, browser-only, never leaves your device). That's it.
5. How long we keep it
Reservation + waitlist records: kept while you're actively reserved or on the waitlist. If you ask us to delete your record, we delete it within 30 days.
Server logs: kept by Vercel per their retention policy (typically a few weeks).
6. How to opt out, delete, or get a copy
Email privacy@aibuildersclub.ai from the address on file and tell us what you want:
- “Unsubscribe me from emails” — we stop sending. You stay on file as having reserved if you did.
- “Delete my record” — we delete within 30 days.
- “Show me what you have” — we send you the data we hold on you within 30 days.
No fees, no friction, no “please verify your identity by uploading a photo of your driver's license” theater. Email from the address we have on file = sufficient.
7. Children
This service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think we've received data from a minor, email us and we'll delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we send an email to your address on file. The version at the top of this page is the active one.
9. Contact
Privacy questions, deletion requests, anything else: privacy@aibuildersclub.ai.
